Our experience after dealing with the Amari Service Department for the first time is nothing less than brilliant.
Our first encounter with Mark the department manager was early on a Sunday morning. We were due to take part in the Sunday run which was being hosted by Amari. After a short run from Lytham to the venue my 997 Targa developed a problem with the engine and as we pulled up outside the gates at Amari it ceased to run.  Mark and other staff were immediately on hand to get the car to the service bay where it was plugged in to the laptop and diagnosed with some sort of variable valve timing issue.  It was fantastic to get answers to the problem and call it luck or fate, to get this service at 8:20am on a Sunday morning could not have worked out better for me. Needless to say the Sunday run was off.
The car was booked in for the issue to be sorted and this was again dealt with ultra quickly and the car was then left in the very capable hands of Mark.
Whilst off the road communication and feedback as the job progressed was second to none and a couple of days later the car was ready for me to pick up.
As it was the first time the car had been to Amari they also gave the car a full inspection, which was very useful to me as I had only had the car a few weeks (purchased from another dealer in Yorkshire) and to have a trained eye look over it for any other problems etc was to prove useful. Two or three minor items have been identified and these are due to be addressed over the next few months, but it’s good to know that I had bought a sound car.
Upon picking the car up it had been valeted and looked immaculate.
The car runs and feels fantastic again possibly even better as maybe the valve timing had been going wrong slightly for several days before it went badly wrong.
In conclusion with what Amari have done for me I certainly would not consider going to any other garage for service and repair work to my Porsche.
